A six inch pizza would have the following area:
A = Pi * r^2
A = 3.14 * 3^2
A = 28.26
The 14 inch pizza would have the following area:
A = Pi * r^2
A = 3.14 * 7^2
A = 153.86
Since you'd only be taking one of six slices of the 14 inch pizza, each slice would be 1/6 of the total area, or:
A = 153.86/6
A = 25.64
So, the 6 inch personal pizza would be slightly larger than the slice from the 14 inch pizza.
Now, I really want pizza.

You don't need to use pi, or worry about whether to work with the radius or the diameter, because it cancels out. The big pizza is bigger by 14 * 14 / (6 * 6) times, that's 196 / 36 or just under 5 1/2, so the personal pizza wins.

6 inch pizza = 28.26in squared. 14 inch slice = 25.643333...in squared. So the 6 inch pizza is larger.

the six inch pizza is larger, with an area of 9pi square inches (versus 8 and 1/6 pi square inches). Re: photographr7's answer, you square the radius not the diameter.
