Don't take it off, its really bad for the healing for the piercing. Trust me, I've had my ears pierced 2 times (two on each ear) I didnt take them off for half a year and now no matter how long i dont wear earrings, they never close. Once i didnt wear my earrings for 1 1/2 years and when I put them on again it slipped in my earhole so smoothly its like i had them on yesterday.

I had this problem recently. Anyway, what you need to do is: 1) Clean them off thoroughly. 2) Don't be nervous. If your hands start to sweat, it will never work 3) Grab the front part in a good grip 4) Grab the back part in a good grip 5) Pull as hard as you can It WILL come off, it just takes some time. The earrings were put on so they wouldn't fall off due to the fact the ear-hole is new. So don't be discouraged. If you must, ask your parents.

LOL funny question.
I have had my ears pierced a total of 7 times. So I have 7 holes. 2 on the right side and 5 on the left. Kinda like in craps. LOL Lucky 7. Anyways I have 2 in the top of my left ear and one that is a third hole in the bottom part and those 3 I never take out. I am always scared they will close up on me. Which I have had them so long I know that they wont. But anyways I suppose they are my fashion statement. LOL. I mean I change them out with different earrings every now and again but they are never without earrings. Even when I sleep.
So anyways if you want to keep your holes you should really get some kind of cleaner to disinfect your ears incase they are infected. But if they are trust and believe you would know it. I have had mine infected and it hurts like hell. I can only wear those hypoallergenic earrings or sterling silver or gold. No cheap-o's. LOL.
Anyways I say keep them in and put some peroxide on them or some of that cleaner they give you when you get them pierced.

Are you sure that you know what you are asking? You should ask yourself these questions: Whats up with your friends? Is it your only friends telling your piercing will become infected? Are you not supposed to wear earrings to school.? Are you getting jumped tomorrow and just don' t know? Are you wearing cheap earrings? Cheap earrings cause irritations when you wear them everday. A collection of dirt, perspiration and the material that cheap earrings are made of can cause irritation in and around the piercing. I have never heard that your ears become infected when removing earrings. However, if you don't wear earrings for a long time piercings may close up. Invest in a pair of small earrings that are made up of a metal that you know you are not allergic to. Swab your earlobes and clean your earrings with 70% alcohol every now and then. Apply cosmetics like hairsprays, gels, lotions, make- up and perfumes before placing in earrings.

It all depends on you, after all, its your ears that's pierced. But mom's right, don't take them off if you don't want to. Is there any reason why your friend doesn't want you to come to skool wearing them? (jealousy?) However, your skool might not be tolerant of pierced ears so your friend might have a point, she might not want you to get into trouble. There are invisible studs (clear looking ones) available so you can still wear them to school but they're not noticable. As for infection, if you clean your piercing regularly with saline solution (1tbs salt dissolved into 1ltr of boiled water/filtered water), there should be no problem. Good Luck!

what made you decide to pierce them in the first place. If you do not like the way they look then take them out no matter what Mom or your friend say. However just a bit of advice if you keep messing with them (taking them in and out) they will get infected. Be sure to use clean hands and clean the jewelry whenever you do remove or replace them.
