Sure, some up and coming artists would love to have the sales that she generated, but with all the hype and buzz surrounding the album it really sold quite poorly it's first week (about 77,000 copies) and it isn't projected to do any better. Why do you think this is? I personally think it's better when people who can't sing to stay away from the recording studio.

I think people are basically just sick of her. I don't think it's just her lack of singing ability because some people have had success in the music industry despite only marginal talent. I could never figure out her appeal : she's not funny, she's not intelligent, she's not interesting, she has no personality. She should just stick to shopping, sex and partying and stop trying to push herself out into the public eye.

We need people who can't sing doing albums so that we can make fun of them and appreciate the good singers even more.

well americans are tired of hearing about her life atleast thats my theory, paris hilton is everywhere, well i have nothing against her thats her life, but too much exposure of one person, tv ads, shows, movies, cosmetics, clothing, books
and now music, well paris hilton is available everywhere there is no mystery to her and nothing to hope for because you've seen almost everything their is to see including her lousy sex life
