if youa re dieing of hunger, does it matter what country you are in? I am so sick of people saying that we should take care of America first...Don't you think that a hungry person is a hungry person, whether they are in Cleveland Ohio or Ndubi, Somewhere-Stan... you are still just wanting a basic element of life. These people need are help. I am not saying to neglect the people in our own country, but we cannot turn a blind eye to the problems around the world... Just think, if we spent half as much on food and feeding the poor as we do on bombs and guns across the world...how much better would things be? But relying on our government to do it is insane...We must all unite....at least thats my 2 cents!!

I think that America has been throwing money at the problem too long. There's been no accounting for all that foreign aid. If you think Katrina funds were misused, you should see the BILLIONS in foreign aid being stolen by African governments to fund their palaces. I'm not kidding either. It's sad that people starve, they are every American street corner...I do what I can WHERE I am. That is all I can do.

I think we should put the people/places with the most need first ...that is why I donate money to charities that work outside my country (Australia).
