Yes, yes, yes, it's completely backwards.
And look at all the haters calling you a racist.
They should all go live someplace else.
They have no real answer, so just call you what they know they are themselves.

Actually, America is the one of the few countries with only 1 official language. That is funny since we're such a melting pot of cultures and were built on immigration. As mentioned above, it would be foolish for a business not to cater to Spanish-speaking peoples, as they are such a large economic force. Although fewer in number than the English speaking majority, they are strong enough in number to warrant the extra time and effort it requires to offer Spanish customer service. and 6 Spanish Channels is really very few compared to the 600 English available on Cable.

If you come to SE Michigan we have nothing printed in Spanish. Everything here is printed in Arabic. All the pamphlets, hospital signs, Medicaid, Medicare, social service information, social security information is printed in Arabic, not Spanish. The phone messages, though, are in English as well as the courts, but if needed a translator is provided. We have the court-mandated call to prayer 5 times per day from 6am to 10 pm. What's more, we even have our own Bint Jebail Cultural Club where Hezbollah supporters gather. Now that's going a bit too far.
You can read some articles about the few bad apples here:

The Bint Jebail Cultural Center was founded in 1994. Incredibly, American taxpayers subsidize this "cultural center," since it has 501(c)(3) tax-deductible status. In 2004, the year of its last tax return on file, the club spent over $85,000 on "cultural and religious seminars and lectures," most of them extremist...the Bint Jebail Cultural Center is also used as a frequent meeting place for Hezbollah supporters and a locale for pro-Hezbollah rallies
Yep from Dawa to Jihad. I see the pattern just like is outlined in the Avid article:

But Islam is a peaceful religion.

Welcome to the "melting pot" of America. I agree that some countries are multi-lingual, but the US has been English speaking for over 200 years. It wouldn't hurt some of us to learn a second language. It even helps when travelling abroad. However, we didn't stop the Indians from speaking their language, why should the hispanics stop us from speaking ours? NOW BEFORE YOU GET YOUR KNICKERS IN A KNOT, let me explain. I grew up in Miami, as did my parents and their families (Going back to 1928 that I know of). Remember May of 1980, the Flotilla, remember the Tent City, the riots? Yeah, that's what happened. Not a single documented, legal person. ALL ILLEGAL. They wanted a better life away from Castro and his hoods. (Did you know that Canadians VACATION in Cuba? It's still a luxury if you aren't American.) Add that to California, Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico and their Mexican illegals. I don't begrudge a single one of them the right to the freedoms we enjoy here, but they need to get documented, get a job, and pay taxes. The last thing I want to see is someone being shoved back to a country where the drug lords and corrupt politicians (yes, even worse than ours) run rampant over the little guys. But please, they should show that they want to be here and are willing to do their share to keep this great country what they are coming here for. Otherwise, it's just going to end up like the hole they came from.

The United States does not have an Official Language. So, it a free-for-all. I think the link say Texas has adopted English as it's official language but you can read it and see.

I know it is ridiculous. Just learn English. Try living close to the border, unless you do. Then it is really bad. Everywhere I go people automatically speak Spanish to us. I don't speak, and therefore I am told over and over again by companies that they can't hire unless I learn Spanish. Hello - this is America, we speak English here.

There is no official language of the United States. There are actualy native born US Citizens who don't speak English, and don't have to (i.e. native American communities in Northern Alaska, as well as the Territory of Puerto Rico). Businesses are simply responding to customer needs. Go to the Pacific Northwest and you'll see lots of signs in Chinese too.

Why??? , because our elect officials are corrupt, inept and cowards.
They are afraid to stop this overrun of the American way of life
By hordes of illegal immigrants that think that we own then.
Should be only one language , English .
And as you can see , is not my mother tongue , but I’m trying.
