Yeah! Haven't you seen some of those body builders up close? Loosing weight if you're not tone will just hang or be saggy but not get stretch marks. If you grow very rapidly, it also happens. Sister stretched tall so fast one year in high school that she was in a lot of pain and had stretch marks behind her knees, (she wasn't heavy!)

Allot of the times they do because when u gain weight your skin stretches out and when u lose it the stretched skin is there no matter what your skin doesn't just shrink to fit your body after that change like rubber so u have whats left of the skin or u just have a bunch of stretched out skin to deal with

If you stretch the skin beyond what its capable of then you get the marks. Gaining muscle will sometimes result in marks.

u can get stretch marks any way possible from loosing weight rapidly to gain weight .....i got stretch marks around my hips cuz in gr 9 i had nuthing once i hit gr 10 ....badaaa boom were tat come from ....yup and tats how i got them from bein tiny and developing way to rapidly
