Well, I have quite a few... some of U2, like "Bad" (an oldie), but more special is "Kite". That song (and that particularly album "All That You Can't Leave Behind") stroke me like a thunder in a moment of sadness and rage in my life. It really helped me.
Oh! Another one is "Hey Jude", specially the ending of the song (with the whole choir doing nananananananan hey judeeeeee!).
I heard a musician saying that whenever we are touched by music (let it be tears or chicken skin) is because a note in the melody or the harmony is striking us. But it's always the same note... I never find mine (never tried to discover it) but I guess he was right.

Sinatra is my babe but I'd have to say Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. My boyfriend and I listened to that song the last night he was here we layed in the grass, and it was the song that was playing in the airport as I left the terminal.

Kendall Payne - Honest
Boy know your place.
Lies do not become us.
Real is more attractive than a slick and polished mask.
Girl dig down deep,
I know there's more between us.
There's bound to be a question
You're just dying for me to ask.
If you can be honest
I can be too.
If you'll take the first step
I'll follow you through.
But no one wants to bleed.
No one wants to hide.
No one wants to hurt alone inside.
Child don't close your eyes
The truth contains much beauty
And though it scars your soul
It can heal the wounds it makes
You've been deceived to think
That pain is to be dreaded,
And you've got nothing left.
It'll give more than it takes.
Chorus
If you can't find a peace
I'll help find it for you
I don't know how,
But one thing that's sure
Is I won't leave you now.
If you can be honest
I can be too
If you take the first step
I'll follow you through
No one wants to bleed
No one wants to hide
No one wants to hurt alone inside.

The song is called Why and it is by Nichole Nordeman. My sister sang it in church and it is about Jesus' crusefiction. To hear a clip of this sad song go to this website: http://www.nicholenordeman.com/media.aspx and it is under her 'this mystery' cd as track number eleven. I hope this track touches you in the same sweet way it did me.

Anything by Andrea Botchelli. I bought his CD when my dog was dying and everytime I listen to it I cry. Especially the song "Time to say goodbye".
