Rotation speed remains constant in terms of rounds per minute. However, the speed at which you travel increases.

For example, near the middle, (3 ft out) you might travel in a 18+ ft circle in 10 seconds. However, near the outside of the circle, say 10 ft out, you now cover over 60 ft in the same 10 seconds! So now, you're traveling over 3X as fast in ft/sec. Whoa!

Now as far as physics goes, you're probably talking about centrifugal force. At the center, you're just spinning. But as you work your way out, you'll feel more force because a) as we saw above, you're now moving faster in terms of ft/sec and b) since the turntable is applying the force perpendicular to the center, it pushes you outward. The further out you are, the more force you feel!

Weeeeeeeeeeeee! :-)
