Dress casual but with a nice pair of pants and a dressy top and heels.

No need to dress fancy or anything. Just wear normal everyday casual clothes.
EDIT: Ok, apparently someone didn't like my post. Think about it, the type of crowd you're going to be around. It's a comedy club, not a fancy restaurant or a night out slow-dancing. No one is going to think less of you based on how you dress at a comedy club. I wore jeans, a tshirt and flip-flops the last time I went, and I didn't get any sneers and dirty looks because of it. You can dress casual and still look cute. Save those nice heels and jazzy top for a nice romantic evening. You're going someplace to laugh and possibly wet yourself. Type of dress and trying to maintain a certain "status" is quite silly and superfluous.

Keep it sexy-casual. Dress up a skinny pair of jeans or leggings with a tunic. High heels or flats are fine. enjoy!

Whatever you feel comfortable in. I'm the type that would wear some nice designer jeans and a top.

comfortable jeans, small heels (if female) and a flattering shirt.
If male, then jeans, converses or tennies and a white or black undershirt, dress that up with an open buttoned shirt.

I would wear something really wild and loud so the comedian would hopefully notice. I think it would be fun for him/her to point me out.
