I just got a dell laptop today. I has wireless internet on it. But I don't know how to turn it on. Can some one please help me out?

Try Fn+F8. That's the purple Fn button left of the left alt button. It may not be F8, but its the one that has what looks like the letter i and little parentheses around it - (((i))) (its an antenna).

Well, here's what I know from personal experience: first you need to be in a spot that has a connection available. After that, you need to look for a little button with a light in or near it. Usually, it will be either above the keyboard or on the front edge of the laptop. It may have a little antenna picture with radio waves coming out of the top. Once you locate the button, push it to make your computer aware of any networks in range. Then, if you're running Windows, you may need to go to Control Panel>Network Connections and tell it to search for wireless networks in range. It should find at least one, and then you just hit "connect", open your browser, and surf away! Hope this helps.
