Because if you gain weight in the stomach and you are a female of child bearing age, some ignorant people assume you are pregnant. The worst is when you already had the baby and someone says "When are you due?"

maybe becuase you gain some weight or it is obvious you are pregnant. some people detect any little change in appearance that might led them to think you are.
as for experience many people said that i am pregnant, but i didn't believe them or just denied. but indeed i am that time.

I think it's horribly rude. If I were pregnant, and I wanted someone to know, then I would tell that person. If not, they should keep their opinions on my weight, etc., to themselves.
