I'm looking for phones like Sony Ericsson P990i, Nokia E61 or Motorola Moto Q, can you suggest me some stores where I can find them unlocked for a good price?

Try eBay instead.

dont go to the sprint/nextel/other carrier stores

go to your local cell phone store that is licensed but not a direct subsidy of the company

thats where i got mine, it was unlocked, and only 50 for a sony ericsson

you will be better off forgetting that if you dont live in a big city, if you dont, try ebay

I'm not farmiliar with what stores are in San Francisco, but I am under the impression that unlocked phones are hard to come by in the US. Try www.tigerdirect.com, they have tons there. (phones might be euro and you will need a power converter)

I would skip the store and search eBay. Make sure the seller has been around for at least a year, has a good feedback score and at least 30 feedbacks. Also, remember if it looks too good to be true... its because it is.
