I'm trying to get used to wearing a bra. It's hard enough trying to get used to it.

Let us take one step at a time.

LOL! Being a feminist myself, I have met a plenty of feminists, from all over the world, who are wearing their bras, shaving their armpits and don't pms-ing. Also, I know a plenty of non-feminists who are pms-ing, don't shave... and so on :)

But, I guess, you don't want to believe in this...

First, some feminists are feminine, pretty, and graceful.

Second, I find it surprising that people have such apparent hatred of feminists, who are guilty of nothing but wanting equality for women and even wanting some things better for men.

In 2006, we don't even see many feminists on our network television or hear from them on the radio talk shows for the most part. What we see is young women who seem like they have no brains, no interests, no causes, and no apparent self-respect. You don't see too much attacking young women who dress like sluts and make no effort to use grammar correctly....

But there are always attacks on "the feminists". "Oh my God, those horrible feminists!!!"

It just goes to show the point that "all those horrible feminists" keep trying to make; and that is if a woman doesn't dress like Britney Speares and if she's not willing to take her " rightful place" as a nice, feminine, sweet, little nothing who doesn't complain about wanting to be equal, then she will be hated and attacked by both men of a certain mentality and other women as well.

Martin Luther King, Jr. is generally respected for all his efforts and contributions toward rights for Black citizens. So are most of the people who followed him. Yes, when the racial crisis was at its height he, too, was attacked; but now most people have come around to seeing that what he wanted was only fair and right.

He did, however, have the benefit of being a man. Women - as you have demonstrated - still have a ways to go before the simple aim of feminism is reached. (I'm not not saying every person has to agree with every last belief that every feminist has. Feminists are like any other groups. They can vary in their beliefs in some way. I'm saying that the trashy-dressing little bimbo's that seem to abound today aren't doing a thing to advance respect and valuing of women - but the feminists are still trying.)

Why can't people just do their own thing and stop attacking women (and men) who believe women should have equality?

As a feminist I can tell you that I will never put on a bra, shave my armpits or even THINK about my 'pms-ing'.

I am a man and I don't suffer from PMS.

I'm female .... I wear a bra, shave and don't have pms. Im a girly girl and love pink and dresses. Not all feminists act like the stero-type you mentioned! I just belive that females and males are equal! I hope your not the chauvanist you are sound like!

I am a feminist. I wear a bra. I am shaved smooth and I am fortunate to not suffer from P.M.S.
So, what's your problem?
