I'm in love with a guy who lives half a world away and I don't know if he's ever coming back and I don't know if I'll ever be able to go visit him. I love him and he loves me, we talk all the time but I'm always scared he'll find somebody else and fall in love or that I'll fall in love w/ somebody else. He's a beautiful human being and it sucks that because of circumstances bigger than us we can't be together and enjoy our love. I'm so depressed, I feel like crying most of the time. Anybody have any thoughts on any of this? No dumb remarks please.

He used to live close to me and that's how we started dating, but then he had to go back because of INS issues. Now it just seems like there are a lot of hurdles in our road.

I cry when I'm by myself in my room and my friends are pretty supportive, but I try not to bring it up a lot because I know how annoying that would get. That's why I decided to discuss it online w/ strangers because I just needed to vent.

have you ever thougth of getting him down to visit so u can see if it has any sparks .or even u go there for a holiday(just be sure to have a hotel u dont want to rely on him and if something goes wrong u have no where to stay.)if its true love u dont have to worry about u falling in love with someone else if u have any doughts then its not ment to be .u have to think long terms will there be a chance u will be together soon or will iu never be able to meet because of money.as that could cause some problem then.

Don't do anything foolish like trying to find someone else. If he loves you and you love him well you have to give him a chance. It may not be soon but one day the two of you will be together.

You ask for advise and then you say "no dumb remarks". You are the one who is acting dumb, sweetie!!! You need to get back to reality and get a life. You have a choice......sit around, cry about how miserable your life is........or, act mature and make a peaceful life for yourself by accepting the situation. Eventually, people will get sick and tired of your moaning and groaning at your own personal pity party! Grow up!

If you pass the test of time for your love then it was meant to be. Cry and let it all out but always remember and never forget. Lost love is "lost but never forgotten" Take care

i thought i was in love with this boy we were little kids together and when i moved we promised to love eachother forever. for years i had this idea that one day wed find eachother and be just as in love as we were as kids. untill last year when i met this truly incredible guy and i understood that id been using my feelings for this other guy so as not to get hurt, and though it didnt work out between me and this other boy im still happy i met him its taught me to feel my emotions not hide them. All this means is that if it works out though thats not likely thats wonderful and good for you for staying strong but if not dont hide your heart away its a waste and it hurts more then getting burned.

Just enjoy these times that you have together talking and make the most of the relationship you do have. He is someone you will never forget...cherish the memories.

dont worry about the "what if's" and make the most of the time you do spend together and what you currently have with each other. Dont let your worries get in the way! Good luck

If this relationship is causing you to cry all the time, it's not healthy. As hard as it may be, it's time to let go. It's not fair to either one of you to sit around and basically have no one.
