Why didn't those that could've prevented 9/11, lose their jobs?

This is the one thing that puzzles me. No one lost their job over this. When I mean no one, I mean the ones that could've prevented 9/11 and didn't. Take a look at all of the Federal Investigative Agencies, no jobs were lost, just alot of people getting their fingers slapped and that's about it.

If something similiar was to happen to any business or any other place, you can believe that somebody would've been fired for it.

Puzzling isn't it.

Yes, I have taken several American Government and civics classes. You have to take classes like that if you get any type of college degree. I've got three degrees by the way, 2 in engineering and 1 in business.

yes i am puzzled also, but I just saw something on the news about how those that cleaned up the 9/11 site now have lung problems and respiratory problems, and will continue to for the lifetimes.

Why didn't the EPA that deemed the air quality fine for NYC and those work people get reprimanded or SOMETHING. I feel sorry for those people who will have resp. problems.

Those people responsible for 9/11 are the ones in power. In the USA, 'Might is Right', so the ones responsible ascend to power, carry out the attack on 9/11, do a reasonably good job of covering it up and as a result start a false war in the Middle East. The only way these persons will be held accountable is for the Democrats to take control of the USA Congress in the November 2006 Elections...

You try to pinpoint an exact person to blame out of thousands...I think that there were a lot of people who had a suspicion that something was going to happen after receiving numerous tips on terrorist activity. However, you can't fire the entire government, even if you would like to. And, a country is not run like a business...it is much more complicated... Maybe you will learn that if you ever take a civics or American government class.

George Tenet; although CIA officials denied that Tenet quit or was pressured to leave because of criticism of U.S. intelligence over the failed search for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq or missed clues to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist plot.

Outside of that who would you suggest?

For example:

Robert Mueller was nominated by President George Bush and became the sixth Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation on September 4, 2001. He could hardly have been fired.

The majority of the presidents cabinet was nominated January 20, 2001. What effect could you blame on them for their 7+ months?

Would you impeach the members of the US Senate Select Committee on Intelligence? Unlikely.

How about Vice Admiral Wilson who was the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency? He is the primary military intelligence adviser to the Secretary of Defense and the Joint Chiefs of Staff and also answers to the Director of National Intelligence. Shouldn't he have known? Of course, since the different divisions of the intelligence community were not allowed to talk to one another how could he have put it together?

I guess the point is, there is enough blame to go around and most of it can go directly to the policies established over years of relative peace. And politicians are not going to accept blame for the results of policies established years before the event.

The simple fact is that the people to blame are the terrorists. When evil people do evil things - so far outside the realm of what is imaginable - you blame the evil not yourself.

Condi Rice and several other in the admistration were handed documents that researched by the Clinton administration that warned them that aircrafts were gonna be used to attack in NYC, and gave possible targets.

Richard Clark told in his books that those items were shredded and that Dubya NEVER read any of those files, but, whether Bush's Brain did, we will never know.

The Document that Condi was handed was titled "Bin Laden Determinded to attack the United States", and gave details of the attack on 9/11.

What would have happened if Al Gore would have been in his rightful place as President???

The Conservative Media would have impeached him before he could move into the White House!!!

Condi and all those under here should have went down for what happened to those families that horrible day almost 5 years, but, again, Republicans do not have the ability to feel guilt or admit that they are wrong!!!

Those families like will never get justice for what the Bush Admin. allowed to happen, and then we have people like Ann Coulter who continue to bash and disrespect those grieving families who will never recover from what happened.

They all have blood on their hands, and they used it to write on the walls of the White House while brainstorming on who to keep that incompetent, ignorant man in office for 4 more years!!!

Wake up, if you were really "Christians" and had a "faith", you would not back a man who has sent numerous people to their deaths all for oil.

If you have degrees in engineering, then with a little further research you can discover that it is impossible for steel framed buildings to collapse as a result of a jet fuel fire. No steel framed building has ever collapsed as aresult of fire, even the hotel in Madrid which burned foir 6 days.
This then leads on to how did they collapse, and you will discover that the only way is by controlled demolition. Further research and deep thinking will lead you to the fact that this was an inside job, perpetrated by the government.
Then you will know why no-one lost their jobs.

I thought the same thing. I used to manage security desk attanedants and I always told them that if any crime happened that could have been prevented by the desk attendent then that attendent will be fired.

I don't know who the "federal invetsigative agencies" are but I was thinking of the particular airport screeners on duty at the time. They said that if the machines didn't detect the knives then they were not allowed to single people out for fear of profiling also known as effective security work.

Sorry liberals, but profiling would have prevented 9/11.

A former president once said, "The buck stops here." Our current president says "pass the buck." In August, 2001, a Presidential Daily Briefing ("PDB") was given to Bush and his ENTIRE administration. They ALL ignored it.

Unfortunately, the real reason that no one was prosecuted is because both the Senate and the House were controlled by the Republican party. They refuse to blame a fellow Republican for failure to do his (or her) job. This is why no one will lose his/her job.

What sci-fi e book have you ever been examining to get those imaginary techniques? in simple terms ask everybody whose relative or chum died in those towers or have been on the planes or maybe many of the survivors and that they are going to inform you the reality. It became a terriost attack organic and easy, not some delusional government conspiracy. have you ever forgotten that the worldwide commerce middle became attacked as quickly as in the previous decrease than the Clinton admin? If Bush is in charge so is Clinton.

Because both sides of the political government are working for ....themselves. Our government uses our petty indifferences to keep the citizens argueing among ourselves while they fill their pockets and the banks of their business associates.

We need to put some real Americans in office... this richkid government is starting to give me a complex! They'll cover each other's back while telling us a completely different story.
