Is it possible for someone to access my messenger contacts?

I was talking to someone, and he was typing id's off my messenger list, how could he have gotten them? When I asked him about it, he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about.

do you have your messenger set to send your friend list? he might have pulled it off your 360 friend list, or thier is a program that can pull it off your messenger. i played with it for awhile but it got old so i deleted it.

if someone managed to hacked into your account, then yes.
