I want to make a mug with all types of beer bottle caps that i can display and use. So it has to be dishwasher safe or at least washable.

Try superglue or two part epoxy adhesive. Good example is Stycast 1266.

However, most epoxy resins are not safe for food-related uses. It might have to be a decorative mug after you decorate it. Check the package before you buy.

I constantly used a bottle opener. you realize the variety to open a can of beer yet on the different end. lol. Oh yeah, those pull tops have been invented in the previous you have been born. i'm happy you all have ranges, you'll want them. My degree is in common experience and expertise. I attended the college of annoying knocks for some semesters yet discovered plenty. have not got the degree to tutor it, yet i'm extraordinarily clever.

Epoxy. Check its temperature ratings (the package will say "good up to 151 degrees" or something).

Try hot glue. That should make them stick. Or try wetting duct tape them letting it dry, then flip it n make it sticky on both sides. That holds like glue.
