Although I don't recall the author's name, I found the book "Good to Great" to be a phenomenal read. It talks about companies that, using objective criteria, went from being good companies to great. He lays out his criteria for you so that you can judge for yourself and he explains what it was that helped these particular companies excel.
One "for instance" that I can think of is when he explores Nucorp Steel. He explains how Nucorp excelled at a time when Bethlehem Steel was crying poverty. He explains how Nucorp did it and where their thinking excelled.
Overall, this was just a great book for a small businessperson. His other book, "The Tipping Point" was not nearly as impressive. I read "Good to Great" first and was tremendously renewed after reading it.
Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Best one I ever read was called "Swim With the Sharks Without Getting Eaten Alive" by Harvey McKay. It was first published in the early 1980's.
His later books have always disappointed me by comparison. Swim With the Sharks is a must read.

i've got faith that became a reference Jesus made to his coming crucifixion, that's a connection with the actuality that his loss of existence is drawing close and that he could desire to do all he can to pass on his teachings jointly as he can somewhat of dropping his existence persuing earthly issues that does no longer income his paintings for mankind. that's a reasonably supported by the actuality that the day became in many cases the time which represented existence and evening became the time that represented loss of existence; that's definately no longer a sin to ascertain at evening.

Trump's classic "The Art of the Deal" is one of my all time favorite, but "Secrets of Question Based Selling" is one of the best sales books I've read.
