To the "thing"? How old are you? And why are you having sex with a 12 year old?? You both need to discuss this with an adult, preferably her parents. Medically neither the abortion or having the infant is safe for a 12 year old. Talk to a doctor that specializes in these cases, get all the information and options before doing anything. You need to realize your responsibility in this matter, and be accountable. No matter what is decided both of your lives will never be the same.

Yes, an abortion is supposed to be safer than giving birth, but giving birth is also pretty safe these days. She needs to talk to her mom or a trusted adult before making a decision like this. I hope she considers adoption, because she could make another family really happy who would really love that baby, and turn around a mistake she made into an experience she will look back on later as being giving and heroic instead of with regret. Please think about the big picture and do what's right, which isn't always the same as what's easy.

You should ask a doctor, but there are probably safe ways to do an abortion. Why were you having sex with a 12 year old and why are you calling the child a 'thing?'

If she is 12 years old then she is going to have to have her parents consent (depending where you live and what the laws are). So the best thing to do is to have her talk to her parents and be open with them and see what they say. It's also very important that you stay with her during this time and support her. She could also call planned parenthood and talk to someone about things and see what they say. Also it's not a "thing." It's a baby or at least a fetus.

I think you are way too young, obviously you are too immature to even think of the consequences. Instead of abortion, I would recommend adoption. Does she really want to live the rest of her life knowing she killed a baby because of her own ignorance?
