We do care.

The problem is that the media is controlled by the right... not American's best kept secret that the left controls is.

All you need for proof is to watch the news and ask yourself, "Who's agenda did I just hear about?" = republican agenda

The democratic agenda is like what you just said... jobs, gas prices, healthcare, poverty, social security, etc... issues of the ppl.

rising gas prices , yes, blaming bush doesnt solve it or has created it.......the gas prices in the past month have gone at least .50 cents here in virginia....gambling has been an issue ever since the cold wars and before.....poverty will always be a problem, all countries have poverty, including ours......there are so many programs out there to help the poor and poverty strickened people, its a basic issue at times (not all circumstances) that people would rather complain and stay in there situation that do anything they can to change....look at the world today, its not because of a particular administration its just they were better in the past at sweeping everything under the carpet, out of sight out of mind.....

Politicans do not because they are not there to fix problems, only get government involved to screw them up more.

Gas prices are going back down because it is the end of summer and there is more and more ethanol to go around. BTW, when the government changed from MTBE to Ethanol as the additive, prices skyrocketed. There was not enough ethanol to go around.

Gambling is a personal problem. Not the governments to fix.

Poverty is an attitude. It is not the government's problem to fix it. People must learn to live with the consequences of their choices.

Poverty? In the USA? Maybe in some desolate or truly isolated areas. If a person wakes up with a roof over his head, dresses in clean clothes, and walks to any job, he is WAY ahead of other nations. Where else could a "poor" person own a car, refrigerator, color tv, several radios, and a cell phone?

People care, but getting angry at others and playing the blame game does nothing to fix any problem. Besides, I like to gamble.
