hmm bottoms =) i have enough shirts.
i need cute jeans and capris and stuff
so definatly bottoms =)

I'd pick pants.
I can get shirts for virtually nothing.
I (being an urbanized kid from NJ) would get
some Miskeen® jeans (those are like $88 each)
some M+FG jeans (those are like $78 each)
some Akademiks (those are a lot, I don't know hom much)

Hmmmmm, tops I think.
Let's take a pair of jeans for example.
You can do so much with it the same pair: dress it up with a sequin top for example, a cute blouse, or dress it down with a cute logo tshirt.
The more tops you have the more variety of styles you can pull off.
So yeah, tops for sure!

Shirts. I could buy them for all seasons. I wouldn't need that many bottoms to match them.

I would say bottoms, even though I have 2 closets full of clothes.

Bottoms - cuz good bottoms that fit well are expensive but most tops fit without alterations

id have to go with shirts cause most people dont look at if you wear the same jeans or skirts or whatever everday but the tops they defintnly do but try to get both
