Katie is part of the movers and shakers, you know. She has moved up the anchor ladder and she is doing her thing. It takes courage to do what she has done.

No, absolutely not. Why should she? For one, I think that all the K sounds heard in her name evoke a strength you are talking about. But back to why she would change it? What do you feel the problem is with her name? I hope the reason is not that it is not "American" enough. Because that would just be sad...

No I do not believe that she should...she really has not proven herself yet on the Evening News...granted she has only begun this gig...to me the jury is still out; she did, however, prove herself on the morning show...I always looked forward to her in the morning.
