What makes an adult ok to swear? Is it because of more knowledge or experience with life? I dont see a difference whether you are 100 or a 1 year old, words are words in any matter and every way. I feel a violation im my first amendment.

Why is okay for adults to have sex and not children? Cos you can't treat adults and children in the same light. Children have the virtue of innocence and we want to preserve that as much as possible.
Words are not just words, they carry a lot of power in the meaning: words have been know to cause riots, wars, malicious arguments, etc

It is not okay for adults or children to swear. But, adults do know the meaning of the words when they use it, and children don't.
That is the only difference.

Adults attempt to teach children the appropriate route by not cursing. Somewhere along the line when we grow up, we often sway from the right path.
Some children grow up and actually do not curse. For those, it was worth the effort.

I agree. I do swear occasionally, but it is the sh word. I think too many people could be offended by the this filthy language and a what good does it do us anyway!!

Ok... let me explain....
If a child swears then there will be many conciquences....
- They could tell their friends and those friends will say around their parents who will ask where they got that from and they say your child did so then those parents tell your child to say where they got it from they say you so they get mad at you and they will think your a bad parent!!!
OR...
Your child could grow up saying that and get people mad....
Parents or adults can say them just not around their or someone else's kids.....
