That is a rational number. If a number stops, then it is rational. Also if a number can be converted into a fraction, then it is rational. But if a number doesn't stop and can't be converted into a fraction, then it is irrational (like pi and e).

As long as that's the whole number, it's rational. If there are more decimal places (they might have got cut off by your calculator) then it might not be. A rational number is one that can be expressed as a fraction.... 9.732 can be 9732/1000. HTH! :)
