Hell, you can date other people when your married, it's your "choice". Whose out there to stop you? I don't think the judge is going to come down on you because you went out to the bars or on a date (s). You are going through a separation for a reason, I think that's kind of for a reason?! Celebrate! Enjoy! You are FREE!

the rule of thumb is no dating until you are divorced for a full year... where did I get this? Dr. Joyce Brothers, relationship expert. She feels you need the time to be yourself, find yourself, reflect, get on with your own life.... before you enter into another relationship

Certainly you can. But don't get caught in bed and lose your rights to lots of other things (eg. custody, $$$, mental & physical sufferings, ego, properties etc). He would find ways to get you and make it sound you are the one that causes the separation and the sufferings he is in.

How devious is your ex wife? I would wait a little while and do NOT date anywhere near the children if you have any......If you can,..keep a low profile. Talk to your lawyer,..they give good advice.
