The video footage that was taken apparantly shows the stingray attacking Steve Irwin and nothing after that as the cameraman went to his assistance.
The tape is currently with the Queensland Police department and will be used by the coroner when preparing his report. After that the tape will be given to Mr Irwin's family and it is reported that they intend to destroy the tape.
That being the case, then no-one other than a few officials will get to see the tape and anything which does appear on the internet will probably be a fake.
I'm glad that the tape is to be given to his family and that the decision as to what to do with it will be up to them.

...hate to say it...but I wanna see it too. I live on an island in the middle of the Pacific. I'm a little curious about stingrays that freakishly kill....a little strange that he would have been killed by a stingray among all of the "most venomous snakes in the world" he has has his face next to.
I was looking today and all reports say the footage was seized. I bet it will surface by the end of the week.
I'm going to check back tomorrow to see the answers.
