both answers are correct, just different ways of looking at it. 60 onehundredths is the same as 6 tenths, same with 7 tenths and 72 onehundredths

Both has the correct point but Lisa is precisely correct. Kona is only "rounding-up" the figures, which is not applicable if you're doing real Monetary business calculations.

yes, the reasoning is the same. If you are in doubt, multiply both sides by 100 (because the decimal is in the 100th place). This will make them whole numbers and you can see more clearly.
