He really fought hard to get primary responsibility of the kids and is disappointed he lost. The Mother is clean, doesnt do drugs or drink, but has a history of violence and assult, and was actually arrested for this. She also has a history of neglect.
Should/could he go back to court to get primary custody? Any fathers out there who have done this in won?

there's no substitute in situation which would be grounds for a metamorphosis in custody. a metamorphosis could must be the custodial determine desiring to flow far away that would make it difficult for the non-custodial determine to be certain the child, the custodial determine abusing the child, drug use, and so on. basically b/c mommy offered a house and is engaged does not abruptly make it that she ought to have custody. The choose could enable her extra visitation nonetheless, relatively in case you reside interior the comparable city. And get a infant help order against her. in case you have not got a lawyer, get one. EDIT: There are patently distinctive human beings posting to this thread that don't understand regulations. If there is at present a custody order in place that mom gets the child on the weekends in user-friendly terms, then you do no longer ought to enable her see her infant at cases different then that. additionally your boyfriend ought to bypass to mediation. It makes it seem extra effective for him as he's making an attempt to artwork it out together with her till now related to the courts.

In most states unless the mother is really a bad influence, is in jail, or is dead, it is hard to get custody away from the mother. I wish your friend good luck and I hope that he continues to fight as long as he thinks it is the right thing to do for his childrens safety!
