I hope Australia honors Steve Irwin as being a great and daring man in trying to promote conservation.
By putting a pic of Steve Irwin on a postage stamp issued by the postal system in Australia, with a few cents from the sale of the stamp going directly to promote the zoo Irwin founded, Steve Irwin's life would have had some definite meaning by promoting a living working site---the zoo Irwin founded.

OMG! I found out today upon opening Yahoo. I am totally grieving as if I actually knew the man. I felt like I did. I began watching his shows close to 7 years ago. I saw a documentary on he and his wife, how they met....their history together basically. I am just so shocked. They are great folks!

Steve irwin will be well missed to me and my family. We have watched episodes of his nature shows forever. He will be well missed and I hope and pray for his families comfort.

i never would have thought his death would bother me this much but it does!! i feel soooo terrible. he was way too young to go. and he was so dedicated to his lifes work. i wish i could have saved him!!
