You may have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, a form of anxiety. Do you compulsively clean? If you don't clean something right, you have to do everything all over again? IF so, definitely see a professional.

Anxiety can come in many forms and for many reasons. In a nutshell It is a version of overwhelmed that is on speed. I have anxiety and panic attacks, I take paxil and am a bit better, but I dont want to be comatose all day either, I have kids here! But yes, you can be anxious about cleaning, one thing to help is to get out. Go to a wide open space. Also reduce clutter in and around the space you want clean. The more stuff you have in a place, the smaller it gets and the more overwhelming it gets to maintain organization. Good luck!!

you can get anxiety if you are trying to meet a goal or dead line such as cleaning rooms in motels or factory or office cleaning where u have just so much time to get it all done OR do you have a husband who is a neat freak and u are trying to get it all done before he gets home? otherwise maybe you just have an anxiety disorder u need to talk about it with a counsler. slow down relax and take some long deep breaths. Nothing weird about anxiety disorders, very common in this day and age when things are moving so quickly

No, it doesn't sound weird at all. If you ever watch those shows on tv where they clean up houses for people that have too much crap you'll see you're not alone. There are literally millions of people with that problem.

I know I do. The job can be overwhelming. When I have to clean my apartment or anything like that that seems like a big job (or even a bunch of little ones) I get all fidgety and stuff and can't get a hold of it...
