Ganguro literally means "blackface". LOOK AT THE TANS!! This is a fashion trend in Japan. I'm curious to KNOW how this trend got started.

Well, It may be then it may not be because it all depends but i think they are trying to look like a group of fake baked white girls but you realize the only reason "white people" get tans an crap is because they want color like us black people or other nationalities that have color that's why they spend all that time trying to get that natural color an all an it's true we black people an other nationalities come in many different shades from dark to light .I mean this is just a point now they talked about people with color for the longest time now look at them i mean this is so funny to me I'm really not trying to sound racist but it's true.But those Asian girl were trying ta look like baked white girl just to be real with you.god bless an don't get me wrong or think I'm being racist when I was explaining that to you.

They are not trying to look "black", they just want the valley girl look. YOu know, crazy fashion, bleach blonde hair, very dark tans. It has nothing to do with trying to look black and more to do with trying to get noticed. They also wear green/blue contacts (most of them) and white eyeliner (some).
