I told her that this is not only me to be benifited but all our family members. I got 2 graduating kids in college and i told her, i want to grow more professionally not only in our community but even nationwide or worldwide. I just could not convince her.

You have a very wise wife. You just might be making covenants to beings known and unknown. You just might be swearing allegiance to an institution--not knowing who or what the commander in chief is. You need to read wisdom books on conduits of positive and negative energies--altars, the energies they attract and spiritual usurpers that glue to unguarded altars: The Golden Fleece Found by Basil Hill.

My interest is only piqued because I did not know they help open house for new members. i thought the Masons were a very close, secretive sect.

Are you sure you know what all entails the membership? And if you know everything, does your wife? The media easily leads the willing to think that the Masons are an evil sect. Is this what she thinks?

Perhaps if she knew what exactly was involved (moving, different identities, losing contacts), she would be more receptive.

Good luck.
