Spend some time alone in quiet thought. Clear my mind, and focus on truth and priorities. Rest is a natural cycle in every living thing. Take time to reflect on my heart’s true feelings and desires. I have come to the undestanding when you walk and talk a spiriutal path you listen to the heart rather than the head. It is then that you walk hand in hand with God by honoring your true feelings.

Take it day by day. Remember to give and receive love. Eat right and exercise. Don't take more than your share of the bad stuff on your shoulders.

A good support system, family and friends, is a must. Many people would say their faith is essential, too. If you're not a believer, then science and logic are great supports too.

Listen to music. Dance. Be alive and enjoy this world to the hilt.

Then.... you will be ready for the NEXT stress-filled day.

every one has different coping mechanisms and everyone is unique in viewing things from their own perspectives. these perspectives can also change according to our mood, how our day has gone and by numerous other factors...including interpersonal relationships as well as our environment and nurturing while in our developmental years.
Coping mechanisms that work well for one may not work well for another. Some people prefer to work out their stress physically by engaging in rigorous exercise, some people prefer t relax with drugs, alcohol or soothing bubble baths etc...and some people prefer to deal with stress by completely ignoring that it is occurring.
try to tend to deal with stress in small doses focused on individually and by thinking out what may have caused it as well as how to reduce it or resolve it ...then a warm languishing bath with candles burning and incense perfuming the air can work wonders......

I drink, eat, get angry, or loose my temper.

If I am lucky and get stressed in the morning, then I am able to go to the gym and workout or do some sparring before I go to work.
