The tape is in the hands of Queensland police.

The video footage that was taken apparantly shows the stingray attacking Steve Irwin and nothing after that as the cameraman went to his assistance.
The tape is currently with the Queensland Police department and will be used by the coroner when preparing his report. After that the tape will be given to Mr Irwin's family and it is reported that they intend to destroy the tape.
That being the case, then no-one other than a few officials will get to see the tape and anything which does appear on the internet will probably be a fake.

Never happen ,, it will never be released it is currently in the hands of the coroner and will be withheld from public viewing,, why on earth anyone would want to see the death of Steve Irwin is beyond me

first of all it would be good to get your information correct.he was not stung he was stabbed through the heart.two, the tape is not out it is in the hands of the police department.the manger of steve said when it is release back to the family it will be destored.why would you want to see something like that in the first place?he is dead that is all you have to know.or, do you get excited from seeing people die.
