WOW..I have a 13 year old daughter, and I guess it would be time for me to sit down and have a talk with her. It's better you than someone on the outside. I think it's ok for you to tell her about the things of life and this would be one of those things. Go to her and ask her, are you have you? You know things in that nature.

Depends....did she tell you that she "masturbates" or did she tell you that sometimes she touches herself.....It's a natural thing to do this and she's probably at that age....I don't ever recall telling my mother that I was doing this, but it was just one of those things that I started doing when I hit the age that I was curious about my privates....If she ASKS you about it, I would be honest with her and just tell her that it's ok to explore but it's not something that she want's to share with anyone else, and it's something that needs to be done in the privacy of her own home....I wouldn't encourage it...

I would tell her it's perfectly normal & that it's private.
I'm glad when my child comes to me & shares his life experiences with me. It's better your child comes to you then gets information from someone else.

I would just tell her it is a very private thing and it is ok she told you but it isnt something to tell other people about or to do where other people may see. good luck
