i havea dell c400 latitude and how can i change my processor and is ther and good place to buy hard drive or ram memory for my laptop?????

Because of the size and shape of the socket in which the c400 processor fits, there is not another processor made (that I know of) that you can put into one. So you probably can not upgrade the processor.

Also, because the memory and hard drive are unique to the Dell laptops (with memory different for each model), the best place to purchase the hard drive and memory is from Dell itself. You will pay about 10% more, but it will work. Worth the extra to get the right parts.

Not that easy for a laptop to change the processor. Best you should hope for is adding more memory or swapping out to a bigger hard drive.

Take the case off, take the old processor out, and put the new one in.

take into local staples or other computer provider. Staples in Manhattan Kansas always does a gppd job for me!
