for example, if I send a text to my email from an verizon phone, it lists the email addy as 1234561234@vtext.com. The number Im trying to text is 09194397269.... I had sprint befor and they had unlimited txt internatl. But with verizon they dont have. I was told u can send an text message thru emails. I would like to know. what comes after @ and if I have to but 01163 then the number.

Ok Im trying to email a family member in the philippines. I want to send it to their phone as a text message. I know in the states you can send it to a verizon number like 1234561234@vtext.com. But Im not sure what I have to but in for them. The number is 0639194397269... but Im nut sure if I have to but the number then @smart.com or something diffrent.

Hmm, I use Chikka from http://www.chikka.com to send my text messages. But if I don't have Chikka on I receive the messages in my email and can reply to them in this format:

639#########@chikkatxt.com

Obviously replace the ##'s with the phone number you're sending to.

I know exactly what you are talking about...we used to do it from the states to a friend in Singapore. I have yet to figure out what it is here for the main carriers.
