You need to set up an equation. You have the following information: How many total were sold, the portion which Kelly sold, and the portion which Lauren sold. Since you only have one unknown, this is very simple. for every computer Lauren sold, Kelly sold 5. In other words, for every x computers Lauren sells, Kelly sells 5x. The total of their combined sales has to equal 78, thus 5x (Kelly) + 1x (Lauren) = 78, or 6x=78.

You should be able to solve it from there. Once you find x, you just need to multiply if by 5 to find the number of computers Kelly sold, or you can simply subtract x from the total.

K + L = 78 (kelly plus lauren sold 78)
K = 5L (kelly sold 5X as many computers as Lauren)
5L + L = 78 (substitute)
6L = 78 (solve)
L = 13 (Lauren)
K = 5L = 65 (Kelly)

Tada!
