He was truly extraordinary both as an individual, husband, father, son as well as an educator and conservator of wildlife.
I have to say "Crikey" one more time to him, as I raise my glass in a toast.

I cried. Steve to me was a great man and I watched him during every TV appearance he made, his movies, and his animal planet show. I always wanted to go to the Australian Zoo and see what wonderful world he created for the animals that he made knowledge of, so popular. I aways wanted to meet him and thought he was a total hottie. I do feel horrible of his death, because it was so sudden and so ironic. He put his life on the line time after time with the huge crocs, snakes, and other creatures he loved but his death was caused by a fish. So ironic and so sad. Steve Irwin is someone I will never forget and he will live on in the heart and heads of so many children and adults that he reached out to provide knowledge too.

I think the world is truly mourning this man. His personality was so forceful and full of life it is incomprehensible that he is gone.
It's ironic that of all the very dangerous things he did, he died from something most people don't consider that dangerous.
My heart breaks for his family. His legacy will live on forever and the good works and conservation efforts he devoted his life to will survive for many years.
Yes, I feel horrible. It reminds me of when Diana died, that sort of ache that someone you felt you knew and was bigger than life was just suddenly gone.
Especially sad is the fact that so many children are effected by this.

Most Definetley ((i think i spelt that wrong)) Crikey! peoples I started crying when I heard about him at school, i coundn't believe what i heard from my teachers mouth. It's terrible to lose a great Aussie larrikin like Steve, I feel horrible that I cried when the memorial service was on and the funeral is tomorrow I have to watch that because Steve made me laugh like Russell Coight but steve died because he was doing what he loved best exploring Australia's WILDLIFE........ my sympathy is with his wife, family and friends

Yes,I feel very bad for the dead of this guy. But it was not a surprise for me at all. After watching all the Weird Actions that he performed on his show, it was quite clear that if one plays with fire, sooner or later, one can get burned.
Descanse en Paz, Steve !

i presumed it became a joke as quickly as I first heard on CNN, yet then they had the checklist, i'm unhappy he became a great guy, I felt undesirable for his teenagers they are so little. I remembered an ex co-worker that informed me as quickly as the only reason he watched The Cocodrile Hunter became to be certain whilst he became getting killed, i realize it is sick, yet he became constantly putting his existence on the line.

I did
But it was so ironic you'd think the reason would be because of a croc, not a usually non-fatal sting ray!

You bet. Loved that man. A decent, loving, family man who taught us so much about animals. Feel so bad for his family. He was the best.
