The basic installation procedure is the same for any type of countertop. Youre not telling us "where" the dishwasher is going, or if you are replacing an existing one, or installing one where there wasnt a dishwasher before, etc.
Obviously, a countertop needs to be supported... you will most often find dishwashers installed in the space adjacent to the sink cabinet, with more cabinets on the farther side of the dishwasher. This will work just fine for a granite countertop, as well as the more typical countertop products. If you are going to install the dishwasher under the granite, but at the end of the row of cabinets... then you need to put a support panel on the end. This will serve two functions... cover the dishwasher (which normally does not have a 'cabinet'), and provide some good support for the countertop..
If the dishwasher is going to be installed "after" the row of cabinets, and the granite will not extend to cover the top of it, then I would recommend building a simple "butcher block" top, to cover the dishwasher with a panel to cover the end, again. You can support the block top by placing a ledger board on the wall behind the dishwasher, and the front of the dishwasher will screw directly into the countertop.
Now... if you are installing the dishwasher under the granite.... here's where you may have a little difficulty....you see, the typical dishwasher has a couple of small brackets at the front of the dishwasher, thru which are run a screw each, up into the underside of the countertop...this secures the front of the dishwasher to the countertop. IF... you have a little extra space between the granite and the dishwasher brackets, then you can glue a strip of wood to the granite with some construction adhesive, and shoot your screws into that.... If you do not have room for that... then you will need to pre-drill the granite, with the proper type of bit (diamond tipped for instance), and then use a screw with a plastic insert, like a wall anchor uses.
If you want to add some specifics of what you wish to do, we can provide you with more detailed answers on how to do this step by step.
:) Have Fun!

Do you now have a dishwasher under cabinet? If so, all you have to do is to replace what you have. Top screws that hold the washer fixed will have to be carefully drilled to prevent problems with your granite. If you don't currently have a dishwasher, but have a spot for it, you will have to make certain that your granite top is supported on the end to prevent breakage. That can be accomplished with a brace that fastens to the wall and extends out under the granite.
