When you touch a live wire you get shocked. I want to know which of AC or DC tends to keep you stuck to the conductor.

I think both will. The current makes our muscles cramp, so it is really we who hold on to the wire, not the other way around.

AC will tend to cause u to "hold on" DC will tend to cause burns. AC is alternating at 50 or 60 cycles per second this causes the muscles to spasm and contract, if u make contact with the back of your hand it will throw your hand away, if u are holding ? a wire it may cause your muscles to contract and cause u to grasp tightly unable to let go. With DC the current is not pulsating and with high current flow trying to find the path of least resistance it will burn away "the poor connection" being U . more involved but hope this helps.

DC will tend to hold you to the power source. Remember, it's not the voltage that kills you, it's the amperage. A person can take thousands of volts, as in when you touch the spark plug of a lawn mower, but under the right conditions it only takes 1/10 of an amp to be lethal. AC voltage will knock you away, burn you, cut you, DC will hold on to you.

Well, I can tell you from experience that AC has a MUCH greater affect on my body that DC. DC is very mild. It's got to be pretty high AC voltage though to make you "stick".

D.C. power supply line will tend to stuck with your body if you touch theD.C power supply.and it is dangerous to touch such live wires. please try to avoid such test.
but mild shock you will sence if the power [volts is less than 6 volts ].
