Solve this Equation: 1 + 18 - 7n = -9

1 + 18 -7n=-9

19 - 7n=-9

Subtract 19 from both sides.

-7n=-28

Dide both sides by 7.

n=4

you have to get n by itself, but I wont do it for you, i show you what to do.

1. First get rid of the 1 so subtract from both sides
1+ 18-7n = -9
-1 -1

2. Take the result and subtract 18

3. last of all, take the result and divide by -7

18 - 7n = -9 - 1
-7n = -9 -1 -18
-7n = -28
n = -28 / -7
n = 4
