i am. i loved him as a kid. "crikey!" will never be the same. i watched the show. i had the board game. im sad, so ,so, sad. almost as sad as when pete wentz almost died. im actually equally sad. but its different when the person actually dies. because youll never see a new show of theirs. i mean, steve irwin was a great entertainer, yet he put a baby next to a crocadile. that was crazy, but hes still great. steve got alot of **** from that but hes cool. i feel bad for his family because they have to put up with the media. all my friends are sad too. i miss him. may he rest in peace. god bless steve irwin

...a great loss... he will be remembered and missed the world over. What energy, enthusiasm, passion and heart. Tragic. May he rest in peace.

I used to watch animal planet and see steve irwin and think, "this guy is crazy!" But he was just passionate about something he loved. I can't believe he died. What a way to go!!! He died doing what he loved, but at the same time Steve put himself in dangerous situations often. I feel bad for his wife and two kids. God help them!!!

I am glad that he went the way he did though. I didn't want to hear that he got bit in half by a crocodile or something ya know...
You cant help but believe that it was his time to go. I mean, they let you pet stingrays at the zoo for goodness sake...
I heard the reason he was there was to do a documentary for his daughter to narrate. I pray that she doesn't blame herself for his death. Its so sad :o(

I am sad that he died,he had two young kids (one is three years old,the other eight). He had a wife, family. Now his kids must grow up without him.He was only 44 years old,he could live another 44,at least.
Planet lost one person who loved his job very much, who loved nature and animals and tryed to show us how to loved them too. So,he will be missed.

It's a shame he died when he did. He lived his life to the fullest and went out doing what he loved. My thoughts are w/his wife & kids. The animal world, and the rest of us, have lost a true original.

particular! observing an previous "Twilight Zone" of a guy going back to 1927 I felt satisfied seeing the Roaring '20's and listening to the music and observing the satisfied human beings, yet cried questioning of ways unhappy it became 1929 will come and smash each and every thing exciting from then.
