No stick to saving money for your new 2006 Chevy Trailblazer SS truck with LS-2. 400 hp motor. Besides Astro has to many loose front end parts and has weird tire wear up front! Trust me on this one double idler arms and complex steering Astro "George Jetson's Dog" needs to go to the pound before you spin a rod bearing. Spend $300 intake $400 borla exhaust $2,400 custom rims and wheels. There is your down payment. You will look good in a 2006 Trailblazer SS? Work that way do not put good money after old Van! Then the exhaust and intake wheels on a much better platform to show off!

Anything that frees up the 'breathing' of the engine will increase power and improve performance.
The easiest way to do this is with the air intake, filter and exhaust so yes you will notice an improvement in performance.
You won't get a muscle car feel but you will get a faster more economical van.

You are going in the right direction with the information that has already been given to you, but most of the improvement if any will be hard to notice unless u put it on a dyno. Remember it is still a mini van. You want something better just buy it. For the money you will spend on the van you could buy a new whatever you want.

Hi, I've worked in an autoparts store for 13 years. More horsepower means bigger valves, or a bigger block, or you could just bore your old one.

Place a mast mid van and hoist a sail. Hope for wind.
