If we drew one up asking Yahoo to implement stricter censoring guidelines that ensure age appropriate content and remove some of the frankly disgusting filth found on this website with absolutely no informative value?

I am also looking into making a trip to the yahoo shareholders meeting to voice my concerns.

You know, while you are worrying about Yahoo, your daughter is probably hooking up with a pedophile she met online because you are too damn lazy to watch her, and spend the time you should use educating and controlling her to complain on a website you cannot control. Put down the mouse and be a mother dumba$$.

Sorry, no can do. I have my own guidelines for mine and for those in my care. It is called parental control. The kids know where they can go, even the 4 year old. they have their own sites and if they go beyond those sites without my knowledge, they are prohibited from the computer. If they need to use it, I park my fanny in a chair and watch every move they make. I agree, today got really bad in here, but when I saw it was bad, I was the only one at the computer. Good luck in your endeavor, but I will not expect Yahoo to do my job for me.

It would probably be easier for Yahoo to develop an area for children with much stricter guidelines, And they would need to have constant monitoring for undesirables, etc.

Will you please remove the cob and get a grip? No one on this planet will ever agree on everythig, that's what makes the world go round! I enjoy looking at different view points on Yahoo Answers. If you and your pansy daughter don't like it, quit coming here! Go have sex with your husband and settle down.

You go right ahead and do all that. Obviously you haven't been getting the answers you wanted from your other posts. Instead of censoring what your child sees, you expect to others to do it for you.

And people wonder what's wrong with parenting these days.

i think that most people here do a pretty good job of censoring what they don't like by not replying to those that they find out of line=that's all we need is more bureaucratic fiddling with our rights =let sleeping dogs lie

Catch a clue!

No one forced you to have kids. The internet too much to moniter? GET RID of your computer. What will your kids be doing while your fighting for censorship? You don't know, but I bet you'll blame someone else for the trouble they get into.
