The video footage that was taken apparantly shows the stingray attacking Steve Irwin and nothing after that as the cameraman went to his assistance.

The tape is currently with the Queensland Police department and will be used by the coroner when preparing his report. After that the tape will be given to Mr Irwin's family and it is reported that they intend to destroy the tape.

That being the case, then no-one other than a few officials will get to see the tape and anything which does appear on the internet will probably be a fake.

the only reproduction of that video is interior the hands of respectable investigators in Australia. The video is owned by Steve Irwin's cameraman and long term pal and he has mentioned, with finished help of the previous due Mr. Irwin's supervisor and relatives, that once the investigators have finished with the tape it is going to the two be locked away and by no ability be released or may be destroyed.

Those that were involved with the the documentary have announced they will not allow this video's release.
If it gets out there...shame on you greedy people. Think of the Irwin family.

The police currently have the footage. The Discovery Channel said that should the police turn it back over to them, they will not release it or air it under any circumstances.

They aren't going to show that footage...ever. That's just wrong! It would be demeaning him.
