If you were in public and a youngster was misbehaving or being just plain annoying, what would you do? (Assuming the parents didn't seem to be taking action.)

Find the parents & slap them! If you're in a store find a manager. On a bus, tell the driver to pull over & ask them to get off. In the movies get up and go find the manager & tell them you want a refund if he/she doesn't make them leave.

If you don't go through the parents or some other authority like a policeman or someone that kick him out, you'll probably get yourself a lawsuit for saying or doing something.

I have in the past just looked at the child, it seems to work.... somebody other than parents silently telling them their actions are inappropriate sometimes works.

i would alert the parents and tell them to please control their child.....that's the safest in today's world....when i have seen children being abused i have confronted the parents...but that's another story....i WON"T turn my head the other way...

As long as he wasn't bothering me or my kids, I'd do nothing.
