why the hell would you? Do you think you KNOW what is right for them? Bottom line is this... This friend of yours isn't gay because he chooses to be. It's who he is. Trying to change him would be like trying to convince him that his feelings are not important. He knows what he likes and enjoys, and you know what you like and enjoy... .so leave him to his choices.
Would you force someone to eat the same type of food as you... simply because you think it tastes better? no... because not everyone has the same tastes.
My advice... be a better friend to him, and stop thinking about whether or not you should CHANGE him.

if a person is really gay and not just going through a faze, then the answer is no. I will accept him/her for what they are, it would be a waste of time to try and change anyone who doesn't want to change specially if they don't think that anything is wrong with them.

first of all god made man and woman for a reason. all else he will deal with one day for sure. but if this is your friend and you respect their decission then stay friends and dont try to change them just live by example, somtimes that will open others eyes if not at least you will earn their respect. you see how i feel about gays ,, not really, i just respect others decissions because common sense is the one thing us earthlings have forgotten. animals have better sense than us about love, danger and which is the right partner. good luck with your friend.

You can't CHANGE someone to straight. If they want to change then it is up to them. If they can't change, then just be there for them as a Friend. If you are straight.... can someone change you to be gay?

No. If you had a friend who was short, would you try to make him tall? That just isn't something you can change about a person.

I think it would be sorta hard to try to change him especially if he was gay for awhile.
your friend should be accepted for who he is and not what he is!

Talk to him though and let him know you support any decision he makes.
