Linking is something that can subtly. One only has to hint at a connection. As 9/11 and Sadam are linked repeatedly yet Bush can say they are not connected. Yet a majority of citizens believed (at one time) that the 9/11 hijackers were Iraqi because of the verbal linkage.

We can only hope, or do our part, as this question does, to make his insidious tactics clear.
Keith Olberman did a great commentary tonight on the issue and how disgraceful he found Bush's nasty little speech. He was taking him to task for his crap in a way I have seldom seen a journalist do...we need more of that.

Yes because if they want to get nasty they can bring up the following. Prescott Bush helped Nazi's escape after WW2. He also went into business with Nazi's including Karl Grunwald.

Also read the following quote and see if Bush isn't doing the same thing.

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."
-- Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials

Sound familiar?

That's not what he's doing, but if he did that would backfire. First, Bush didn't say that, he called his detractors patriots that are wrong. Dick Cheney on the other hand called some of the anti-war crowd "appeasers" not Nazis. The appeasers were on the opposite side of that war.

Prescott Bush? I don't even know my great-grandfathers name. Or my grandfather's for that matter. Where to people get this stuff???

Maybe I missed something here - but Bush never linked journalists with nazis - Remsfeld linked the Islamic terrorists to nazis. Not exactly the same thing, ya think?

Do you think questions with a bogus premise like this help your political agenda?

Only you idiot leftist believed that tripe. Everyone that was paying attention knew that the terrorist in 9-11 were mostly Saudis. No one ever said that Iraq was involved in 9-11. Why don't you listen instead of running your mouth about crap that you know nothing about. President Bush said from the beginning that we were going after the terrorist and any who supported terrorist.

As usual, you distort facts and just plain lie. The answers that have already been recorded point this out. Throw the BS against the wall & hope some sticks! Right?
