c) The Leauge of Nations realized it's impotency against the rise of Nazism, both in Europe and Far East. When those countries realized that the Leauge of Nations was powerless, it failed. Blame the Europeons. It's hard to blame the US Senate, who always thought, collectively, that the concept wouldn't work. Just like the United Nations doesn't work today.
